During 2014 we acted as Cyprus counsel for Rabobank in
connection with facilities extended to VTTI, a joint venture
between a Swiss company, Vitol Group and a Malaysian company, MISC
Berhad, to finance a € 300 million oil storage terminal at
Vasilikos, on the south coast of Cyprus. Rabobank is a banking and
financial services company headquartered in Utrecht, Netherlands.
The terminal, which began operations in November 2014, is
strategically located, connecting Europe and the Black Sea with
markets in the Middle East and Asia.
