Outgoing Chair Donald Gray has successfully led the group for more than 12 years and will continue to support Jason, the practice and our many clients until his scheduled retirement from the Firm on December 31, 2022. 

Jason has been actively involved in the aviation and aerospace market for more than 17 years. An award-winning leader in his field, he has been recognized by many key publications, including Chambers Canada: Canada's Leading Lawyers for Business, Who's Who Legal, The Best Lawyers in Canada, and was named a Lexpert Rising Star in 2020. He is a trusted advisor to a broad range of aircraft lessors, lenders, investors and manufacturers. Jason routinely advises clients on complex aviation regulatory matters, including airline and aircraft maintenance licensing and certification, foreign investment in Canadian airlines and airport privatization. He also co-launched the Blakes Drones and Defence sector groups.
