NEW YORKNovember 29, 2021 - Proskauer, a leading international law firm, announced today that it represented Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (NYSE:CHD) in its agreement to acquire the TheraBreath brand for $580 million. TheraBreath is the second-largest brand of alcohol-free mouthwash in the United States. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval and other customary conditions, is expected to close in the fourth quarter.

The TheraBreath acquisition is the latest addition to a powerful lineup of oral care brands for Church & Dwight, which also owns ARM & HAMMER® toothpaste, SPINBRUSH® toothbrushes, ORAJEL® oral analgesics and WATERPIK® water flossers. Founded in 1846, Church & Dwight is a leader in personal care, household consumer and personal care products. TheraBreath will be the 14th brand the company has in its growing portfolio.
