James Ramsden QC and Nina Stewart FCA, the co-founders of Astraea Group Limited, are pleased to announce that as from 23rd September 2021, the firm will be providing Private Client services in addition to its existing service offering. In connection with the expansion of the practice, the firm has appointed James Badcock as a Consultant, effective the same date.
James Badcock is a leading private client lawyer specialising in trusts, estate planning and taxation. He has deep experience advising private clients, family offices and trustees from all round the world on matters including governance, succession planning, taxation, philanthropy and fiduciary risk management. He also brings his trust expertise to bear in contentious matters.
As part of the expansion to their service offering, Astraea Group Limited will provide advice to their high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients on their personal planning and their wealth holding structures. This includes succession planning, tax planning and asset protection, the design and implementation of wealth holding structures, the set up of family offices, advising on structuring and restructuring as a result of litigation outcomes, contentious trust and probate both in the UK and in international trust jurisdictions and philanthropic matters.
