Lewis Brisbois is pleased to announce that Pittsburgh Managing Partner and Cleveland Partner Todd A. Gray was recently accepted as a new member of the Ohio Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) during the organization's National Board Meeting on May 15, 2021.

In addition to his office leadership roles, Mr. Gray is a co-chair of Lewis Brisbois' national Transportation Practice. He specializes in defending catastrophic injury cases of all types, with particular experience in cases with significant exposure in multiple jurisdictions. Mr. Gray's cases often carry eight and nine-figure exposure and place him in notoriously unfriendly venues against some of the most successful lawyers in the country. This is not only a testament to his abilities as a trial lawyer, but also demonstrates the level of trust his clients place in him. Recently, Mr. Gray's practice has focused on transportation, but he began his career successfully defending healthcare providers, and then manufacturers of all types of products. He now has decades of experience defending a wide range of general liability matters, as well as professional liability cases and high-profile municipal liability and public entity cases.

"It is an honor to be accepted into this prestigious group and to join the ranks of many of my colleagues across the country who work to uphold the ideals of ABOTA," Mr. Gray said. "I look forward to continuing that important work not only in Ohio, but the several other states around the country where I am currently practicing."

ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges who are dedicated to preserving the civil jury trial and educating and training trial lawyers. Lewis Brisbois currently has 49 trial attorneys across its nationwide network who have been inducted into the association.
