Webcast Series: Recent Developments in Employment and Labour Law
Webcast #3 – Post-Pandemic Telework and Employee Mobility: Legal and Tax Issues for Employers
This webcast will be presented in French.
During the pandemic, many employers were forced to rethink their
work methods and adapt to the reality of telework. Some
employers are now considering adopting it on an ongoing basis after
the pandemic and even allowing for greater employee mobility. For
example, some employers may consider closing their facilities in
Quebec and adopting telework exclusively or implementing a policy
allowing employees to work at the location of their choice.
However, decisions like these may have legal and tax consequences
for employers.
In this presentation, our speakers will cover some of the issues
that employers should consider when making these decisions. They
will also provide an overview of certain legal and tax issues of
importance to employers and review some practical cases.
