WASHINGTON, DC, January 5, 2021 — Arnold & Porter announced today that Ellen Kaye Fleishhacker, a partner based in San Francisco, has been appointed to serve as Co-Managing Partner for a two-year term effective January 1, 2021. Ms. Fleishhacker is co-head of the firm's Investment Management practice and a member of both the firm's Management and Policy Committees. She will succeed Anne Davis, who will return full-time to the practice of law. Michael Daneker will continue to serve as Co-Managing Partner.

Richard M. Alexander, the firm's Chairman, noted: "Over the past several years, Ellen has played a critical role in, among other things, the firm's hiring activities; our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts; our women's initiatives; and the management of our San Francisco office. Ms. Fleishhacker joined Howard Rice law firm in 2000, which merged with Arnold & Porter in 2012. Ms. Fleishhacker was elevated to partner in 2007. She holds a JD/MBA from UC Berkeley's School of Law and Haas School of Business.
