Collas Crill has appointed David Harby as partner and head of its dispute resolution team in the British Virgin Islands.

David has significant experience of managing complex international disputes and, in particular, insolvency, trust, fraud and regulatory litigation and arbitration. He joins the firm from leading London litigation boutique PCB Litigation LLP where he advised and worked with insolvency practitioners, offshore law firms, financial institutions and corporate and commercial clients throughout the world.

Prior to PCB, David practised at the Independent Bar in England and Wales and at offshore firms in the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands.

He has worked on some of the most significant insolvency and fraud cases to come before the English Courts in recent years, and has strong working relationships with lawyers and accountants in multiple jurisdictions including the British Virgin Islands.

Michael Adkins, who has been leading the firm's BVI dispute resolution team since January, said: 'David has an impressive track record and reputation in his field. It's fantastic to bring someone of his calibre in to lead the team.  We are delighted to get him back to the BVI to build on the great work we have done this year.'

David Harby said: 'I am very excited to be working with such an impressive team in the BVI and am looking forward to building on the continued success of the firm's dispute resolution offering.'
