Cox & Palmer is pleased to welcome six new associates to the Halifax office.

Kelcie N. White earned her JD from the University of New Brunswick in 2018, graduating with the highest level of distinction. Prior to joining our Halifax office as an associate, Kelcie completed her articles with the firm in 2019. Kelcie is currently developing her practice by working closely with our health law, family law, insurance litigation and commercial litigation teams.

Jacob Che obtained his JD from the University of New Brunswick in 2019 after completing a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of King's College. Jacob completed his articles with our Halifax office, and now has a general litigation practice with an interest in insurance litigation, administrative law, commercial litigation, and cybersecurity & privacy.

Sarah Stevens earned her law degree from Dalhousie's University Schulich School of Law in 2019, and holds a degree in Business Administration from Mount Saint Vincent University. Her growing practice encompasses a broad range of litigation matters including commercial litigation and insurance defence.

Ashley C. Dickey earned a combination JD/MBA from Dalhousie University in 2018, where she developed strong business acumen and strategic planning skills, which allow her to provide exceptional value to her clients. Prior to joining Cox & Palmer as an associate, Ashley completed her articles with our Halifax office. She has since joined our corporate & commercial practice group, and has a keen interest in corporate, commercial and tax law.

Drew D. Ritchie completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in History from the University of New Brunswick before obtaining his JD in 2019, also from the University of New Brunswick. Drew completed his articles with Cox & Palmer before joining our Halifax firm as an associate. He currently has growing interest in corporate and commercial practice.

Michael M. Gallagher joins Cox & Palmer from a law firm based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Prior to making Atlantic Canada his home, Michael received his law degree from the University of Manitoba. He was called to the Manitoba bar in 2017 and to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2020. At Cox & Palmer, Michael continues to practice in the areas of health law and medical defence, as well as in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance defence.
