We are delighted to announce that following our Learning and Development team's implementation of Grow - our company-wide learning management system - we have been officially recognised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Jersey and awarded the Best Learning and Development Strategy accolade.

Judges were looking for strategies that invested effectively in the development of their people across an entire organisation, in particular via coaching and mentoring and/or digital learning.

There isn't one size fits all when it comes to learning, so our L&D team wanted to find a way to deliver a method for colleagues to manage their own development and learning in a way that suits them. Grow has enabled the L&D team to do just that, supporting colleagues to develop in their roles whilst making better use of Ocorian's systems so they grow with the business and realise their full potential, whatever their development goals.

The awards were held in early November in Jersey and Employee Experience Manager, Rachel Godel was on hand to pick up the award on behalf of our Global Head of Learning and Development, Emma Sanford. Reflecting on her team receiving the award, Emma said:

"Our L&D team set out to implement an L&D strategy that offers the same blended learning opportunities to all of our colleagues regardless of their global location and whatever their development needs are. We are delighted to have received this award and be recognised by the CIPD for the impact that the strategy has had. It has created consistent and streamlined blended learning opportunities for our global workforce, as well as improved analytics, reporting and monitoring. Huge congratulations must go to all of our L&D team!"
