The Partners and staff of McCullough Robertson Lawyers mourn the passing of friend and colleague Michael Roche after a short battle with illness.

"It is with profound sadness that we grieve the loss of Michael Roche, a passionate and inspirational man," said Reece Walker, McCullough Robertson's Chair of Partners. "Our condolences go to Michael's wife, Jenny, their family and friends at this sad time. May he rest in peace."

Michael joined McCullough Robertson as a Strategic Adviser following 11 years as Chief Executive of the Queensland Resources Council (QRC), the peak industry body for the minerals and energy sector in Queensland.

Prior to his time as head of QRC, Michael spent nine years as a senior executive at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and 16 years as a senior executive in State and Federal Government.

McCullough Robertson is proud to have been associated with Michael whose passing has come far too early and who will be sorely missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.
