New York, December 12, 2018 City & State has recognized Kevin Curnin, a partner in Stroock's Litigation Group and founding director of the firm's Public Service Project, with its annual Responsible 100 award.

The Responsible 100 honors New York's socially responsible leaders, dubbed the "100 most outstanding corporate citizens," for their dedication and leadership in improving their communities and creating positive change.

Kevin will be recognized with nine other individuals in the Law, Lobbying & Consulting group.

The City & State event takes place on December 18 at Sony Hall in midtown Manhattan from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Featured speakers include the actor Mary Stuart Masterson, founder of the film industry nonprofit Stockade Works, and the Rev. Al Sharpton, founder and president of the National Action Network, a civil rights organization.

Kevin and the Public Service Project have won more than 85 awards from various organizations, including the American Bar Association and the National Legal Aid & Defender Association. He served on the Association of Pro Bono Counsel's board of directors for six years and was president of APBCo in 2017.

Before his 2001 appointment as the Public Service Project's first attorney-director, Kevin spent more than five years in commercial litigation at Stroock.
