We would like to invite you to join the second webinar in our Knowledge Insights Series for Spring 2023, "The Impact of Developments in Legal Tech on the Practice of Law" which will take place on Thursday, 23 February 2023 at 11:00 am (GMT) and which will qualify for MPS CPD.
For this session we have invited John Armour, Professor of Law and Finance at Oxford University to speak. John is co-author - together with Mari Sako of the Said Business School, Oxford University - of a study on the use of legal technology by law firms. Based on the engagement they have had with law firms in the UK, John will describe the challenges and effects on law firms in the era of growing legal technology. Having identified some big picture issues, a panel from Matheson including Shay Lydon and Alma Campion, both of whom are partners who use digital technologies in different ways to respond to client needs, and Kyle Gribben, Head of the Matheson Digital Services Group, will consider how these challenges are being experienced and will address the likely impacts on the future practice of law.
