Angelos is the Managing Partner of A.G. Paphitis & Co LLC and leads the firm’s Commercial & Corporate Practice. 

Angelos has experience across a wide range of company law matters including corporate, commercial and finance transactions, but the major focus of his practice is private equity transactions, private company M&A and corporate reorganizations.  His clients range from start-up companies to large multinational corporations, including venture capital funds and other investors.  Angelos practices corporate litigation too, representing foreign clients mostly in complex high profile corporate & commercial disputes.  He is a registered trust and estate practitioner, STEP member and TEP holder since 2005, and an authorised Insolvency Practitioner member of the Association of Insolvency Practitioners of Cyprus since 2015.

Maria is a Senior Associate within the firm’s M&A and Corporate / Commercial department. She advises private companies and shareholders on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters, as well as providing day-to-day legal support with respect to clients' business operations through Cyprus.  Maria works frequently on cross-border matters.  She regularly advises clients doing business through the use of Cyprus companies, whether out of Cyprus or in Cyprus.  She regularly advises clients on private, complex commercial transactions, relocations and redomiciliations, joint ventures, corporate governance, shareholder activism and securities laws compliance.

Additionally, Maria has a wide range of experience in providing advice and counsel to clients in connection with protecting, developing, acquiring, transferring, and defending intellectual property rights with particular focus on local and European trademarks.

Elena is a Senior Associate within the firm’s FS Regulatory & Compliance department, and has focused her practice on FS regulatory and compliance matters within the financial and investment services for the past 6 years.  She advises clients on regulatory and compliance matters related to the design and structuring of an investment firm structure, from start-up to on-going outsourced support. She consults local and international financial and investment firms and institutions during their licensing process before CySEC and foreign regulators.  Elena is licensed FS regulatory advisor with CySEC.

Andrea has extensive experience in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration and insolvency. Andrea acts for a wide range of clients including local and multinational corporations and banking institutions for matters mainly relating to commercial disputes and injunctions, shareholder disputes, corporate fraud and insolvency.
Previously, Andrea worked at notable law firms, including as a senior associate at Harneys Cyprus, and has gained work experience at Graf von Westphalen, in Frankfurt and at Wragge & Co (now named Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co LLP) in London and Birmingham.
Aside from being an active lawyer, Andrea is a part-time associate lecturer in company law at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) (Cyprus campus). Further, Andrea is a qualified insolvency practitioner.

Michael is a Member of Institute of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus (ICPAC) since 2009.
Prior to joining AGP, Michael worked as senior member of the accounting, audit and tax department of KPMG Cyprus for over four years until he joined a well known reputable international corporate, accounting and audit firm as audit manager until 2018. Michael possesses solid background and excessive experience on the preparation of financial statements, financial reporting based on International Accounting Standards and taxation work, including tax advisory and preparation of income tax computations for companies of different sizes and from different industries.

George is an Associate Lawyer at A.G. Paphitis & Co. LLC, He handles multiple projects on different areas and practices of the firm, focusing on how to prioritize tasks that will bring best results for the firm’s clients. George has a diverse role of not only advising on legal issues but also being involved in the front end of the firm’s dealings. This involves communicating proficiently with clients and ensuring smooth completion of all cases. As a practicing lawyer, he has established his own business dealing with clients from all around the world in a variety of matters, mostly, but not limited to the Corporate and Banking sector. This invaluable experience gave George the necessary skillset to become an agile legal professional able to handle different types of matters for clients with different backgrounds, effectively.
