Bowditch partners Mary Feeney and David Travers will speak at the 2019 Higher Education Real Estate Lawyers (HEREL) Conference, held October 17 and 18 at the University of California, Office of the General Counsel.

The HEREL Conference brings together attorneys from all over the country to discuss topics related to real estate and construction in higher education. Mary and David will present on October 18 on "Risk Doctors – Applying Hard-Earned Lessons from Lawyers for Better Construction Project Outcomes," along with Penny Pittman Cobey of Baker & Hostetler in Los Angeles. This interactive panel will discuss key risk allocation and management best practices, both in contract terms and in advising clients from an owner's perspective.
