San Francisco, Calif. (August 1, 2019) – National law firm Wilson Elser announced today that Peter Catalanotti has joined the firm's San Francisco office as a partner.

Catalanotti brings to Wilson Elser a robust practice focused principally on professional liability insurance defense. He represents a broad range of individuals and organizations on related professional liability matters, including real estate brokers, lawyers, appraisers, accountants, engineers, architects and insurance brokers. Catalanotti also practices employment law with an emphasis on discrimination, wage-and-hour claims, and class action lawsuits.

"Peter enjoys a reputation as an accomplished litigator in court and in arbitration," said Nick Martin, regional managing partner of Wilson Elser's San Francisco office. "He will add significantly to our professional liability defense capabilities in the Bay Area and throughout California."

For more than five years, Catalanotti has acted as a volunteer in Department 302 of the San Francisco Superior Court. He is the co-chair of the BASF LGBT Equality Committee and previously sat on the board of the National LGBT Bar Association. Catalanotti is a licensed real estate broker. Prior to joining Wilson Elser, he was a partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP.

Catalanotti holds a B.A. degree from Fairfield University (1999) and earned his J.D. degree at the Temple University School of Law (2003).
