新加坡显然并没有满足于现状,为了吸引特定行业的投资,新加坡政府继续作出改变,改善整体营商环境并进行调整。

新加坡金融管理局最近推出的可变动资本公司(VCC)架构,就是一个很好的例子。VCC将显著提升新加坡作为基金注册和管理中心的吸引力。管理多个子基金的投资者可以透过VCC更容易进入和退出基金市场,并简化了会计程序。

除了良好的营商政策,新加坡拥有庞大的私人财富与众多的高净值投资者,这意味着投资者可受惠于正面的融资环境和大量的本地人。新加坡的超级高净值投资者人口预计会在2026年增长40%,超越伦敦和纽约。

然而,新加坡本身也面临挑战。新加坡政府一直收紧聘请外国行政人员的程序。此外,对于反洗钱和了解您的客户(KYC)程序的监控也变得更加严谨。公司在当地开设银行户口时,可能会涉及比预期中更复杂的程序。

但即便这些挑战也有相应的优势。新加坡稳定和高素质的生活,在吸引和雇用符合政府规定的标准的外国人才方面一直没有问题。部分银行的严格审查,也证明了当地金融体系的完整性和安全性,使投资者更放心交易和存放资金。

善用区域网络

新加坡的另一个独特优势,就是它可以作为"进军东盟的门户"。东盟是全世界增长最快的地区之一。新加坡是东盟的成员国之一,从地理位置来看也处于东盟的中心。东盟在2030年预料将成为世界第四大的经济体,亦是中产阶级崛起的所在地。凭着高度发达的基建和卓越的连系,新加坡必然成为公司扩张至东南亚及其他地区的理想地。

但是,值得留意的是,并不是所有周边国家的监管和合规准则都与新加坡一样。这意味着,想要利用新加坡作为入驻东盟门户的潜在投资者,仍需要在东盟寻找网络广泛、且在当地有据点的伙伴,协助规划公司发展策略及应对东盟相对浓厚的官僚主义。

若一开始就与一名伙伴合作,投资者能以更快和更有效的方式建立新加坡公司的架构和接下来的营运,进而发掘东盟带来的巨大潜力。
