Binance, the world's largest crypto currency exchange by
volume traded, has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding with MSX plc, an investment vehicle launched by the
Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) to seek partnerships within the crypto
sphere with leading exchanges.
Wei Zhou has signed the memorandum of understanding in his role
of Binance's Chief Financial Officer, together with MSX
Chariman Joe Portelli. Such memorandum of understanding will pave
the way for the MSX and Binance to launch a security trading
platform. This partnership will allow the MSE and Binance to host
traditional financial assets on blockchain technology through
security tokens. This is not the first time that Binance has worked
hand-in-hand with the Maltese authorities, as in June it announced
that it was backing the newly launched MSX FinTech Accelerator
Programme.
The crypto sphere in Malta is developing at a rapid pace and we
expect the proposed legislation to come into force in the following
weeks.
