According to the changes to the Work Permit Rules coming into
force on 28 April 2018, CEOs and their deputies in Kazakhstan-based
companies with 100% foreign ownership will be exempt from work
permit requirement.
At the same time, please kindly note that for the purposes of
such CEOs and their deputies to apply for work visas, they will
still need to obtain a special letter from the competent authority
confirming the exception.
