In December 2017, the Dutch Implementation Act GDPR (Uitvoeringswet
Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming) ("UAVG")
(source document in Dutch) was submitted to the House of
Representatives for review. The UAVG will take effect along with
the GDPR on May 25, 2018, and contains a specific regulation for
the processing of biometric data.
