Renewal Criteria
If you are already registered with CIMA, then you will have received a reminder email by now. You must renew your registration or licence if you are already appointed as a director of an entity that is registered with CIMA (a covered entity) that:
- will carry on business for some or all of 2017; or
- is in "licence under termination" status and has not completed its deregistration process on or before 31 December 2016.
You may also elect to renew if you know or expect that you will be appointed as a director of a covered entity during 2017.
Renewal fees
The renewal fee is US$853.65. Payment of the renewal fee must be made on or before 15 January 2017. If you make the payment after that date you will be liable for penalty fees.

- Log on to CIMA's portal
- Ensure that all personal information remains current
- Pay the fee by credit or debit card
Cancel
Cancellation criteria
You may cancel your registration or licence, if:
you have resigned or have been removed as a director from all covered entities;
- all covered entities to which you have been appointed have been:
- successfully deregistered on or before 31 December 2016; or
- placed into "licence under liquidation" status with a voluntary liquidator appointed.
Cancellation Fee
The cancellation fee is US$731.71. Payment of the cancellation fee must be made on or before 31 December 2016, otherwise the renewal fee will become automatically payable.

Log on to CIMA's portal
- Follow the online instructions to deregister
- Submit a letter confirming the resignation/removal or deregistration of the covered entities
