We have received reports that the " EMINE ANNE ", a 1996 built General Cargo vessel flying the Turkish flag, has grounded off Bozcaada Island.
It is carrying a cargo loaded in Constanza and was bound for Ancona.
The vessel requires professional assistance from salvors – it is hard aground with significant physical damage.
It is also possible that General Average will be declared if the vessel can be salvaged at all.
So far as any recovery is concerned, we have identified the vessel's P&I insurer, which is headquartered in London.
