Central Bank publishes update to UCITS Q&A

On 4 November 2015, the Central Bank published the ninth edition of its UCITS Q&A (the "Q&A"). Most of the new questions relate to the transitional arrangements in relation to the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013 (Section 48(1) (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations 2015 (the "Central Bank Regulations") which came into effect on 1 November 2015 and which consolidate in one location all of the requirements which the Central Bank imposes on UCITS.

In addition, the Q&A includes new questions in relation to the rules relating to the eligibility of commodities indices, the eligibility of financial indices and prospectus disclosures relating to long and short positions.
