Sayenko Kharenko acted as legal counsel to joint lead managers J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, Sberbank CIB and VTB Capital in connection with a new USD 1.25 billion Eurobonds due 2023 issued by Ukraine in April 2013. The new issue had a 7.5% coupon, which has become the most successful placement in the past two years.

It followed the tap issue of USD 1 billion Eurobonds due 2022 which was placed in February 2013 with a 7.8% coupon increasing thereby the total amount of the issue placed in November 2012 to USD 2.25 billion.

Sayenko Kharenko's team working on all three transactions included managing associate Yuriy Draganchuk, associates Marta Hontaruk, Olena Krasna andOlga Kovernyk and was led by partner Nazar Chernyavsky.
