Liability For Violating Delivery Categories Of Medicinal Products Introduced

On April 17, 2012 the President of Ukraine signed the Law of
Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On
Combating Tuberculosis" and Other Legislative Acts of
Ukraine", which provide for the imposition of administrative
liability (penalty) for delivering Rx medicines without
prescription. Thus, a fine in the amount of UAH 102-425 shall be
imposed for a first-time violation, and of UAH 425-1190 for a
repeated violation of the delivery category. Compliance with the
delivery categories is supervised by the State Service of Ukraine
on Medicinal Products.
