Trademark Registration changes in India. Application Fees goes
up!!!
The official fees for filing a trademark application in India in
a single class has been increased from INR2,500 to INR3,500, with
effect from December 29, 2010. Therefore, going forward, the
official fees for filing a trademark registration application in a
single class will be INR3,500.

In a public friendly decision, the Ministry of Commerce and
Industry (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) has
abolished the fee for search including the system of Official
