RLLPs and LLCs: Practical Considerations About Limited Liability Partnerships and Companies

SB 441, SB 555 and the Check-the-Box Regulations have enhanced the options available when organizing an entity in Texas. Each of the five entities has a place in Texas. As lawyers we must consider the characteristics of each, as modified by the 1997 and 1999 changes, in guiding our clients in their choices among entities.
