With the largest economy in the country and the fifth largest in the world, California is home to an extraordinarily active state legislature that routinely passes laws with significant and far-reaching impact in California and beyond. These laws are implemented by the state's vast array of regulatory agencies, many of which are trendsetters that also influence the national policy agenda.

This webinar examines recently introduced and enacted legislation of importance to the retail industry, including legislation pertaining to the following: packaging and waste reduction, consumer privacy and customer loyalty programs, paper receipts, animal welfare, litigation, and labor and employment.
