FINRA Elects Four New Governors

FINRA elected four new governors to the agency's Board of Governors. The new governors begin their three-year terms effective immediately.

FINRA elected four new governors to the agency's Board of Governors. The new governors begin their three-year terms effective immediately.

The new governors are:

  • Chris W. Flint, President and CEO, ProEquities, Inc., and Senior Vice President, Distribution Companies for Protective Life Insurance Company. Mr. Flint will serve as a Large Firms Representative;
  • Linde Murphy, Chief Compliance Officer, M.E. Allison & Co., Inc. Ms. Murphy will serve as a Small Firms Representative;

  • Camille Busette, Director of the Race, Prosperity, and Inclusion Initiative and Senior Fellow in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution. Ms. Busette will serve as a Public Governor; and
  • Ethiopis Tafara, Vice President and General Counsel of Legal, Compliance Risk and Sustainability at the International Finance Corporation (part of the World Bank Group). Mr. Tafara will serve as a Public Governor.
