Daniel Gorfine, the Chief Innovation Officer and Director of the
LabCFTC initiative will leave the CFTC in mid-August of 2019.
Mr. Gorfine was responsible for, among other things,
coordinating with U.S. regulators and international regulatory
bodies as the CFTC (i) developed digital regulatory frameworks and
(ii) worked to "promote market-enhancing FinTech innovation
and incorporate emerging regulatory technologies."
