OFAC issued an Advisory to the international civil aviation industry, warning against unauthorized transfers of aircraft and related goods and services to Iran or to designated Iranian airlines. OFAC highlighted the role of Iran's Mahan Air in supporting sanctioned parties such as the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Qods Force. OFAC stated that non-compliance by U.S. or non-U.S. persons could lead to civil or criminal enforcement actions or the imposition of economic sanctions.
