The SEC launched two initiatives to improve enforcement and investor education resources on behalf of teachers, active military personnel and veterans. Led by the Retail Strategy Task Force of the Enforcement Division, the Teachers' Initiative and Military Service Members' Initiative will provide resources on, among other things:

  • savings and investment;
  • investment fees and expenses;
  • retirement programs that are specific to teachers and service members; and
  • "red flags" that signal investment fraud.
