For the sixth straight year, Pryor Cashman's Trademark practice has been named among the best in the United States by World Trademark Review - WTR 1000.

Recognizing the practice as a leader in enforcement, litigation, prosecution and strategy, WTR wrote: "Pryor Cashman is plugged into the music, entertainment, digital media, fashion and consumer products industries like few others. In particular, it is a market leader when it comes to protecting the content, names and likenesses of entertainment stars and moguls." Partner Brad D. Rose, head of the firm's Intellectual Property Group, was singled out for his work in this area: "[Rose] is not to be trifled with in the courtroom or at the negotiation table, he is brilliant at litigation and IP commercialisation, as well as being an astute all-round strategist."

WTR called Partner Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme "redoubtable," saying, "she serves a diverse client base and provides end-to-end counselling, prosecution and litigation services to clients including Honda Motor Co, Richemont International and L'Oréal." Finguerra-DuCharme was lauded as "a past master at TTAB proceedings, [who] recently stayed the course in a four-year battle to defeat GMA Accessories' challenge to Charlotte Olympia Holdings' trademark registration." "Dyan is fantastic when it comes to customer relations – she's exceptionally responsive. In prosecution and clearance she is very creative and her office action responses are always successful. Her billing rates are very reasonable, which is a big plus for a New York lawyer."

Partner Teresa Lee, who co-chairs the Trademark practice, also received high praise from WTR: "In terms of talent and performance, Teresa is utterly excellent. From routine maintenance tasks to core IP asset protection, she is highly efficient. She works with Rose for a swathe of A-listers."
