The National Futures Association ("NFA") Business
Conduct Committee brought a Complaint against a commodity pool operator
and its principal for refusing to cooperate with the NFA in
connection with an examination of the firm. The NFA claimed that
the refusal to cooperate has prevented the NFA from determining
whether the firm is in compliance with NFA and CFTC
requirements.
If found liable, the company may be fined up to $250,000.
