A joint proposal to revamp the Volcker Rule was published in the Federal Register. The proposal was developed by the Federal Reserve Board, the FDIC, the OCC, the SEC and the CFTC. Comments must be submitted by September 17, 2018.

The proposed amendments are intended to (i) tailor compliance requirements and (ii) streamline and simplify how various exemptions and reporting requirements work.
