The ANA-4A's Joint Policy Committee on Broadcast Talent Union Relations (the "JPC") notified JPC authorizers that the current collective bargaining agreement between the JPC and the American Federation of Musicians, which covers union musicians' services in connection with commercials, is set to expire on June 4, 2018.

Last year, the contract was extended for an additional year.  The JPC said that the parties, "may elect to extend the current Contract again for an additional period of time, to be determined by the bargaining parties."  

The JPC also provided additional information for JPC authorizers about continuing or withdrawing their authorizer status.
