The SEC named Kenneth A. Johnson as Chief Operating Officer ("COO"). Mr. Johnson has been the Acting COO since February 2017.

The SEC named Kenneth A. Johnson as Chief Operating Officer ("COO"). Mr. Johnson has been the Acting COO since February 2017.

As COO, Mr. Johnson oversees operational and administrative functions for the SEC. He previously served as SEC Chief Financial Officer, and as Chief Management Analyst in the former Office of the Executive Director.

Prior to joining the SEC, Mr. Johnson served as an analyst in the Congressional Budget Office.
