It's no secret that finding and keeping good employees is one of the keys to the success of any senior living facility.  Owners and operators are  having to become more and more creative in offering incentives and perks to lure in new employees as well as to keep existing employees.  Senior Housing Business News recently published an article that suggests the trend is going to continue as number of employees needed by the senior housing industry is expected to continue to grow at a rapid pace.  From the article, here is the projected new job needs for various positions in senior housing between 2014 and 2024:

Personal Care Aides:  458,100

Registered Nurses:  439,300

Home Health Aides:  348,400

Nursing Assistants:  262,200

Those who can attract and keep the best employees will have a leg up on the competition, but with this ever-increasing demand for workers, at what point will cost and availability begin to impact the quality of worker that becomes acceptable?
