At the IOSCO Growth and Emerging Markets Committee annual meeting, regulators from emerging markets met to discuss sustainable finance and cyber resilience.

At the IOSCO Growth and Emerging Markets Committee annual meeting, regulators from emerging markets met to discuss sustainable finance and cyber resilience. Among other issues, the regulators addressed:

  • supporting sustainable markets through enhanced sustainable market-based financing;
  • promoting liquidity and dealing with challenges that arise in emerging markets;
  • navigating the balance between facilitating FinTech innovation and effectively protecting investors;
  • enhancing protections against cyber threats; and
  • challenges relevant to the Asia-Pacific markets.

The meeting was attended by participants from 50 different jurisdictions.
