CFTC Chair J. Christopher Giancarlo appointed Matthew B. Kulkin to be Director of the Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight. Mr. Kulkin most recently was a partner at Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he advised financial market participants on legislative and regulatory issues. He is co-chair of the DC Bar Derivatives, Securitization and Project Finance Committee.
