The CFTC made several changes to its delegation of authority rules. As part of organizational restructuring, the CFTC moved the Surveillance Branch of the Division of Market Oversight ("DMO") to the Division of Enforcement ("DOE"). Authorities that were delegated previously to the DMO Director will be delegated to either (i) the Director of the DOE or (ii) the Director of the Office of Data and Technology. The CFTC also is adding new delegations of authority to its rules governing the registration of Foreign Boards of Trade.
The changes will become effective on the date of their publication in the Federal Register.
