The SEC requested comment on a proposal to require public
companies and mutual funds to submit certain financial information
using the Inline eXtensible Business Reporting Language format
(see
previous coverage). The request for comment was published in
the Federal Register.
Comments on the proposal must be submitted by May 16, 2017.
