and Fair Lending Colloquium about the role a "healthy
culture" plays at regulated financial institutions. She called
the Dodd-Frank reforms the process of establishing a "new
normal," warning institutions they cannot return to pre-crisis
modes of operation. She highlighted compliance culture as a key
element to a healthy institutional culture, noting OCC efforts to
improve compliance supervision. She also noted a focus on existing
and emerging risks in the fair lending and CRA spaces for the
OCC.
