BlackRock partnered with technology-driven investment platform Artivest to expand investors' access to alternative investments. BlackRock will offer infrastructure funds for the first time via independent financial advisers. Artivest is a KKR-backed startup investment platform used by registered investment advisers to access hedge funds, infrastructure funds and other alternative investments. Through Artivest, individual investors can commit smaller minimum amounts than required by many other large financial institutions.
