The SEC extended the comment period for its proposal to consolidate and modernize property disclosure requirements, and provide related guidance, for mining registrants. The proposed rules are intended to align the disclosure requirements more closely with current industry and global regulatory practices and standards. The comment extension was published in the Federal Register.

Comments on the proposal must be submitted by September 26, 2016.
