On June 21, 2016, the White House Cybersecurity "Commission on Enhancing National Security" holds its third meeting to discuss key research and development issues and IoT issues with the technology sector. Speakers range from Google, Facebook, Palo Alto Networks to the University of California system. The commission held its inaugural meeting on April 14, 2016 and has had an aggressive schedule, holding meetings once a month. The second meeting was held on May 16, 2016. The commission has meetings scheduled through the rest of the year with a deadline of early December 2016 to complete its work.
