The South Carolina Department of Commerce recently released its Top 10 economic development announcements of 2015—and Womble Carlyle clients are well-represented on that list.
Womble Carlyle worked on several of the Top 10 deals on the list, resulting in approximately $700 million in capital investment and the creation of approximately 5,000 jobs.
“In 2015, South Carolina recruited more than 17,000 jobs from new and expanding businesses,” said attorney Stephanie Yarbrough, who leads Womble Carlyle’s economic development efforts in South Carolina. “That’s not just good news for those of us in economic development circles—that’s good news for all South Carolinians.”
