Adam discussed the steps that founders should take to build an effective team, potential pitfalls once an early stage company secures financing, and skills that founders should incorporate in their toolkit. According to Adam, founders are often prepared for the economic and control dilution that can come with outside capital, but it may take some time to align operations with investors' term goals.
