The Salzburg Global Seminar has published the final report from its inaugural meeting of the Salzburg Global Forum on Corporate Governance held on October 1-3, 2015. John Cannon, co-chair of Shearman & Sterling's Corporate Governance advisory group, Simon Lorne, vice chair of Millennium Partners, L.P., and Bob Mundheim, of counsel to Shearman & Sterling, co-chaired a three-day global seminar on "Corporate Governance in the Global Economy: The Changing Role of Directors" at the forum. Georg Thoma, member of the Deutschebank Supervisory Board and of counsel to Shearman & Sterling, and Masahisa Ikeda, Managing Partner of the firm's Tokyo office, also attended the seminar. Associate Victor Nilsson was the principal author of the report.
