As of today, twenty four states have legalized the use of marijuana and three additional states have decriminalized marijuana use. Legislation to legalize marijuana is under consideration in several other states and those states which have legalized marijuana are attempting to develop regulations to govern its use and sale. These laws and regulations are constantly evolving and can be very difficult to follow.
